the tale of Despereaux term 4 week 4
This term we are reading the tale of Despereaux. Miss Tisdall gave us a sentence then we had to try and think what would happen next.
This is the sentence she gave us:
This is what I wrote:
This is the sentence she gave us:
The beating of the drum let them know that an important decision would have to be made one that affected the safety and well-being of the entire mouse community…
This is what I wrote:
Bong bing boom he hears the drum kit getting louder and louder but he was so far away he tiptoed to the room it was so long away he went down the long creepy hallway he arrived at the kings throne room there was heaps of mouse there.
When he looked who was playing the drum it was the knight soon he collapse on the chair the knights woke him up and told him to stand up the drum kit was still beating.2
You could hear the drums sticks beating on the drum kit you can hear the little heart of desperado beating faster and faster every time the the drum sticks hit the drum kit he’s heart went faster and faster we felt like something bad what going to happen.
They were thinking if they should send him to jail or the rats they said say i if he should go to the rats every said i and say i if he should go to jail no one said i so he has to go to the rats.
The bonther and the mother started to cry Desperado ran back home he’s mother ask if she could come in but he said no go away so she went back to get the father and the son
When she came back in the room was Silence.
They decision that they are going to send him to the dark and cold rat dungeon when desperado walk in the room they were all staring at him.
