Marae trip On Tuesday 17th 2018

 Tuesday 14th 2018 

On Tuesday we went to the arahura marae. We went with Rata 4,Pohutakawa 3,Totora 3 when we first got there we standard at the gate.They were calling to us and we were calling back to them we walked slow.To them we had to take off are shoes then mature T done a long speech then we  sang a song then we had to hongin after we had to put are shoes.On to go to gets some food their was cake and fruit and savouries after we had to take are shoes off and then we sat back into the marae. To do are mihis when they were finished we went and done  story time we found out that we were in the body off tuhuru they had told us heaps about tuhuru. 

term 3 week 3 imagination drawing

 This week in Mamaku 3 we have been doing a imagination drawing.My picture is about when the girl was on the rocky cliff top and she saw seagulls swooping and diving into the sparkling blue ocean.My favourite sentence was when she was on the rocky cliff and looking at the seagulls.

Ivan's domain

This term we have been reading the one and only Ivan.This week we been building Ivan's new domain me shilah skylah  Mackenzie tayla. Made the domain together using cardboard,tape and paint we put two tyre swing's and a sit and two TV's and two mat's and one bed.

Today we have been making plastic we had really fun doing this.






what you need:
1.milk
2.vinegar
3.cup
4 tsp of vinegar
5.bowl
6.poor the milk in the bowl then put in in the microwave for 1 min
7.then you put the 4 tsp of vinegar until it  from's lump's
8.then you need to strain it an then you pick it up with your hand's and mold it and leave it for a few day's.

term 2 week 5 the 1 and ivan

this week we have been reading about the 1 and only ivan it is based on a true story he was 400 pounds he like to paint he is a gorilla

This week in Mamku 3 we have been spilt into groups of 3. My group was Skylah,me and Shilah. We have been planting radishes. Our focus was  caffeine and energy drinks help the plant grow? people in Mamaku looked around at other peoples plant's with Rata, Totara and Pohutakawa. We enjoyed the Science Fair.
