The mines Afire, 2019, Reading

This week we have been reading The Mine's Afire Explosion at the Brunner  mine  where 65 men died in March 1896killed by gas.It was really sad reading it I would of hated living in 1896 but it is a really good book.

  1. Hi there Allie, it's me Kyra! I really like the way you have explained about the explosion and what happened on the 26 March 1896. I would feel the same sort of thing if I was standing outside of the mine.

It would have been really hard to live in those sort of times, where the mining was all you depended on for money. What do you think?

Maybe next time you could have a little look that all of your sentences make sense, but otherwise this is a really great blog post.

    Keep it up!
    Kyra:)

  2. Hey Allie!
Thank you for sharing your work. Are you enjoying the novel? I think it is really sad how so many children were left fatherless. Are you looking forward to going out to the Mine Site? I sure am as I love going outside of the classroom to learn new things.
    Keep up the hard work.
    Miss H
